We received a letter from A. P. Waahia of Makaalae, Hana, Maui, reporting that on the 26th of April, the sea was rough [kai koo] there; the sea was calm and there was no wind, but there was a sprinkle of rain; that night, at perhaps 2:00 or so, there were two earthquakes, and on Sunday night, at 3:00, there was a great flood without there being rain, and the wind was a Kohola. The deeds of God are extraordinary.
