MY DEAR MOTHER HAS PASSED ON.
Mr. editor, Aloha oe:—Please kindly allow me some open space in our Pride to report a short story of our mother who grew weary of this life on the night of Thursday, the 25th of April.
She was given birth by Mrs. K. Mailou at Kaluaaha, Molokai on May 10, 1830; therefore, she was 76 years old or more, and from her loins, she had nine children.
She was feeble for a long time, and we tried the enlightened treatments of the doctors to no avail.
She was a member of the Church of Kaluaaha until she passed on.
With grief,
JUNE W. KAUALUA
Kewalo, April 29, 1907
[Does anyone know what her name was?]
